Post Supplements I am taking
* This is a repost of original post made 6 months ago *

Is anyone taking any kind of supplements? Ive been reading up on a few things and the Americans etc. seem really clued up on these things. So I have decided to give them ago as they can't do any harm. I've started taking

Fish oils EFA, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Bio-Quinone Q10, andL-carnitine

I thought I would give them 3 months as they are quite pricey. Hope there is no side affects unlike the Pumpkin seeds. My fault I suppose having my yearly supply in one day. I am still eating them though.

Also does anyone use any alternative therapies ? :D

6 Months Later

I thought it was about time I gave you my feed back on the supplement I take as I was originally going to give them 3 months because of the cost but I have now been on them 6 months.

Fish oils EFA, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Bio-Quinone Q10, andL-carnitine

Quite often now, I get a feeling like I am off balance and have to take a step sideways or backwards to steady myself. It feel like I am top heavy and I wobble a bit. Usually a wall or something is close to hand, so I can grab that,

I trip every now and then, but that is normal for us. This is a new experience, starting a few months ago.

I think i know what your on about they are what i affectionally call 'speed wobblies' a bit like when you have had a bit to much of the alco pops

This was pretty much how I was feeling when I started taking them, as if I was slightly drunk with a muzzy head and having trouble keeping my balance at times. The thought of crossing a big empty room was quite daunting. Instead I would skirt around the edges so that if I felt myself going I would at least have the wall for support.

Well 6 months on I am feeling really good. I am having far fewer speed wobblies as Marty would call them. My balance has certainly improved. That muzzy drunk feeling I got from time to time has as good as gone. I'm feeling a lot heathier in myself and I've also managed to shed a few pounds. I'm not saying that my FSH has improved but ( just the balance bit perhaps ). I am certainly no worse than I was. I'm feeling far more positive and energetic. I have no intention of stopping the supplements as I believe for me they are well worth the money. :D

Maybe its the old placebo affect who knows but am going to keep on taking them, i also believe in a meat intense diet plenty of protein (Or maybe its because i like meat mmmmmmmmmmm hungry now)
